on a charted plane from Nairobi, the team will be exposed to the arid landscape that is found when crossing the equator. In what appears to be an uninhabited span of rugged desert a small village called Lokichoggio will be located in order to direct the plane to a large airfield that is more commonly used by the United Nations and Humanitarian Aid agencies to move supplies into southern Sudan. It is here that a local Turkanan will brief the team on local customs, history and current areas of concern. A further brief and demonstration will be given by an expert well driller that helps to explain the operation of installing a hand pumped water well. With this knowledge a trip will be organised within the region to locate appropriate sites, drill and install pumps and educate the beneficiaries to ensure long term sustainability of the water supply and equipment
